RMS Launch New Crisis Communications Business
Altrincham-based creative communications agency RMS has launched a new crisis communications business.
Called Reputation Matters, the specialist consultancy will help companies communicate effectively when faced with a situation that could lead to reputational damage.
Agency founder Ruth Shearn said:
“Crisis comms has been one of our areas of expertise for over two decades. We’ve helped protect dozens of business owners from potentially damaging situations online and in the traditional media. In short, reputations have been protected.
“The feedback we get from those we help is often incredibly moving and they clearly appreciate the service we provide. These days, no business is immune from the rising tide of consumers intent on publicly airing their grievances about companies. The trend will continue as today’s savvy teenagers turn into tomorrow’s consumers. All of which, led us to the decision to package our crisis comms service as a stand-alone brand.”
Over the years, Ruth and her colleagues have handled a wide range of crises from product recalls to director disqualifications and “pretty much everything in between”.
